Product and implementation questions
How long does an embedded analytics deployment take?
A first production deployment can typically be completed in weeks rather than the months required to build an analytics layer from scratch. Timing depends on the data environment, security model and product requirements.
Does the product team build the first dashboards?
Knowi works with the team on the initial dashboards, embedding configuration, permissions and tenant isolation.
How is customer data isolated?
Row-level security is applied by user or tenant when queries run. Security can be configured through Knowi content filters or database-level policies. Embedded parameters can also be AES-encrypted with a time-to-live.
Is a data warehouse required?
No. Knowi connects directly to SQL databases, NoSQL databases, REST APIs and files. Data from multiple sources can be joined at query time without first moving it into a warehouse.
Does existing reporting need to be replaced?
No. Knowi can run alongside existing reporting and analytics. Dashboards, alerts and apps can be added on the same governed datasets without replacing what is already deployed.
Can Knowi run inside private infrastructure?
Yes. Knowi supports managed cloud and private deployment options, including Docker and Kubernetes. The AI engine can also run locally within the deployment.
